About momiosis

The heart behind momiosis

Hi, I’m Babs. The heart behind momiosis.

Maybe I’m exaggerating

For almost six years, I lived with symptoms without answers. Endless appointments, different explanations, and incorrect diagnoses followed one another. Often, I was left with the feeling that no one was truly listening to me.

Over time, I even started to doubt myself. Maybe I’m exaggerating. Maybe it’s all in my head.

Those years were not only physically painful, but also mentally exhausting. Living in uncertainty can feel lonely and overwhelming.

In October 2025, I finally received my diagnosis from an endometriosis specialist. For the first time, it was confirmed that what I had been feeling all those years was real.

Snuggle through the struggle

Through connecting with others, I realized I wasn’t alone. So many women are still fighting to be heard. That’s when it became clear to me that emotional support is just as important as medical answers.

During my hardest moments, I didn’t need advice or opinions. I needed something soft. Something safe. Like a quiet, gentle hug. That need is what led to the creation of momiosis.

Momiosis was created as a soft form of emotional support during pain, stress, and difficult days. It is intentionally not a medical product, but a symbol of understanding, comfort, and warmth. Alongside comfort, momiosis also stands for awareness. Endometriosis and adenomyosis deserve to be seen, discussed, and understood. Unfortunately, that is still very much needed.

No one should feel like they have to go through this alone. Every part of momiosis is made with care, empathy, and personal experience.
